On 23 – 25 September 2021 IFESS offered two alternatives to join the IFESS 2021 Conference depending on the participants’ preferences and possible travel restrictions on each location. The XXIV Annual Conference of the International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society (IFESS) took place in Rovinj in Croatia. Moreover, IFESS 2021 was part of RehabWeek Virtual ‘21 online for those who preferred the convenience of a virtual event or who couldn’t to Croatia due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The IFESS joined the RehabWeek 2019 in Toronto, Canada, on 24-28 June 2019.
After Zurich, Valencia, and London, the RehabWeek 2019 took place in Toronto, Canada, from June 24 – 28, 2019. Toronto, the largest and most culturally diverse city in the country, was the perfect place to unite the most inspiring, innovative, and successful minds in rehabilitation technology. The week-long event brought together different conferences in the field of rehabilitation technology and included common keynote lectures and other mutually organized sessions such as panel discussions and poster sessions. Six reputable societies were part of RehabWeek 2019, namely The International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society (IFESS), The International Consortium on Rehabilitation Robotics (ICORR), The International Industry Society in Advanced Rehabilitation Technology (IISART), The American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM), The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA), and The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO).
